OUR BACKGROUND
How We Got Here
1977 Domestic and industrial electrical
1984 HV switching and working on HV cables, transformers and motors on most Queensland coal and hard rock mines, sugar mills, and heavy industry, as well as several mines and industry in the Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Sydney New South Wales.
2009 Training started in Rockhampton Central Queensland.
2013 Decided to take on a small number of apprentices.
Due to our “Flipped” approach to training, incredible success was achieved with apprentices.
The small number or apprentices blew out to 135.
2016 Looked at taking our style of training nation-wide.
Sold the local apprentice training to an apprentice training group.
2017 Branched out to Western Australia and went national with virtual training.
2018 Face to Face Video Training - Apprentice Coaching and Apprentice Masters with weekly sessions to ensure apprentices learn and apply their skills.
Site training from Melbourne Victoria to Darwin Northern Territory
2019 Site training for mines, power stations and switchboard builders from Western Australia to West Africa.
2020 Face to Face Video Training extended to include HV Switching, developing safe Switching Programs and Access Procedures that comply with best industry practice.
